I sent the applications(I-140,I-485,I-131,I-765)to Nebraska center 3 weeks ago and it was received by them on December 17,2007(because I tracked the FedEx package).Until today,no receipts yet and my checks are not cashed yet and the receipting update says Current for Nebraska, is the normal or there is something wrong?

Hi does anyone know the current processing time for AP at the NSC. The website says 3 months but has anyone got it sooner?
I applied on Jan 9, 2009..when can I expect it by?

Generally you get it within 60 days. You sent only a few days ago, wait until March. If they say 3 months, they mean to say that they approve application within 3 months.

I saw an update in my case status on July 10th.
It says, RFE received and case reprocessing started..what does this mean?
anybody else has seen this?

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama will become the ranking Republican on the Judiciary Committee under which the Immigration Subcommittee is included. I went on March 11. I went in for 10 am appointment and was out at 10.10 am. Fulltime, first time H1B stamping. Simple questions - where did I do my education, what do I do in my current job, then the officer asked for W-2s from last two years and that was it.

I hear from multiple sources that a concurrently filed 485/140 with 140 in premium is the fastest way to process.
Does this make sense ?
It could be as 485 does not have a A number till 140 is approved.
Once 140 is approved, then have to open the corresponding 485 and enter that information and proceed with its processing ????
So I believe this one is faster than even the approved 140 case submission of 485 ?
Any comments ?

USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. I got F1 VISA for X University and then I transfered to Y University.
Now I have lost I20 for that X University.
I am filing for H1B now and I am supposed to submit all prior I20s.
What would be the potential problem if I do not submit the I20 of X univ?
Is there any way to retrieve the I20 from the university?

We received our H1B renewal approvals last week, and noticed on my wife's 797A that class type mentioned as H1B for the petition type I-539. It's supposed to be H4.
I informed our attorney and she emailed CSC about the same.
Has any one come across a similar thing ?
