My spouse and myself are called for 485 initial interview, .
1) Do my spouse need to take Affidavit of Support docs(form I 864), my 485 is employment based and not family based(I am the primary applicant).

I140 approved - Jan, 2007.
485 Filed -- Aug 2007

Your help on the matter is appreciated. I am EB3-I. I filed for I-485 in July-07. I have been working on H1. Now I am going to switch to EAD by AC21. My new job has same job title and job duties. They have another condition for job. I will have to have a Masters in 8 years of starting my job.Their basic requirement is still Bachelors but Masters condition is kind of extra condition. My question is does this give me any trouble for my GC process because of Masters condition.Another question is will I be able to switch to EB2 based on this.

The Government Accountability Office has released a new report studying the accuracy of the E-Verify database. According to the report, the number of tentative non-confirmations has decreased by 5% over the last two years, an indicator that the system has more complete records than in the past. HI,
My wife is going to India and She has to get her H4 stamped again(I am on H1 and received my next 3 year extension and so did my wife).
My parents are also planing to visit me. Should I book my wife's appointment along with my parent's appointment , or should I book 2 different appointments one for my wife and one for both my parents.

Hi,
I'm in the process of going through the naturalization process having filed the N-400 form.
However, I have a change of plans and would like to 'abandon' my naturalization application.
Would this affect any of my future applications? be it a future naturalization application or petition for a relative the green card.
Thanks for any advice as I can't seem to get a definite answer.

Hi,
I was an employee with company A till march 2008 and i kept a H1b transfer to
company B on march 24th 2008. I was working to company B for an year
on receipt number applied for h1b transfer at USCIS. I got an RFE with
company B in sept 2008 mean while my I-94 got expired on August 2008.
Company B answered the RFE and submitted to USCIS on October 2008.
After waiting for H1B transfer to get approved it got denied on march 10th
2009.
Now i wanted to change my status from H1b to F1(CPT). My questions are
1. If i apply for transfer from H1B to F1 will i be getting New I-94 from
USCIS?
2. Should i be going back to india for getting stamped after i change my
status to F1 ?
3. Can i be on a student status from the day i receive the receipt notice
from USCIS for change of status ?
I would really appreciate your help regarding this issue..

Hi for IRS n Tax purposes you are a resident alien (even though you may be a non-immigrant h1b or using EAD) that is different.
This form is not applicable to you. Tell the credit union that you are resident alien and then they will understand.
No need to fill this form.
Instead you need to apply for TIN (Tax Payer Identification Number) Form W-9 for your wife and get a TIN and use that TIN while adding as a dependent.
You can either file the TIN yourself or go to HnR block or some other service. Usually they file for TIN while filing tax return...

Can a person with following qualification file in EB2? Do you foresee issues like RFE/rejection?
3 Yr B.Com + 2 Yr MBA + 3 Yr MCA .. all foreign degrees. + 1 year of progresive experience.
Can you also suggest/comment on following? -
- Are there any finer-points in various forms that require some specific words/info?
- new OTC job band changes - would it affect this case in any ways?
- Education Evaluation - can you please recommend any good evaluator.. better if somebody who has successfully handled similar cases?
