I just confirmed from my Lawyer that i can go back to my Previous H1 if it is not canceled or revoked by the employer. As simple as that.

My EAD expired in June 2007? I want to get EAD now. Bymistake I discarded my expired ead which is needed for renewal? Should I apply for its renewal or a new one?

this is probably posted before but i'm too lazy to search it...when you using flash with flash wb, the image seems to warm, kinda yellowish...but use auto wb, the pic is more cool and seems right...what do you think?

I got H1 this year. I was applied my ssn on oct 9 th. still i didn't get my ssn number. two days back ssn people called and told that "in online it is showing your EAd card. so we can give u ssn if you bring the EAD card". My question is if i give my EAD, will the h1 get cancelled. please suggest me.
Dont worry, showing EAD to SSA office will not cancel or invalid your H1B. Goto SSA office and tell them you have both H1B as well as EAD.

I am planning to visit India for a10 days in October. I have a valid h1b status till 2010 which I thinking of getting stamped at new delhi. But it seems the PIMS verification delay is making people wait for weeks and months. I have an AP which I can use to enter as an alternative. But I wanted to know if anyone had experience in stamping at the delhi consulate? Do they keep the passport if it is send for PIMS verification? In that case I'll drop the idea of getting it stamped and use my AP (though I want to avoid doing that snce I want to maintain my h1b status).

If your company is having layoff they cannot start new GC labour. But it has nothing to do with 485. And as in your case it doesn't stop the processing.;)

Yes, you can ask CIS to extend the RFE deadline and explain the circumstances. It is critical to make this request before the first deadline has passed.

Hello All,
I am currently working for Employer A for the past 6 years and my current H1 is Expiring in May End 2010. MY employer says he will file the H1 in may starting. In the meantime I got an offer from a future employer B who applied for my H1 transfer in premium processing. We got an RFE and the new employer is working on that .
My question is that lets say After responding to RFE by my future employer B , god forbid say the H1 transfer is denied. Would this denial have any impact on the H1 Extension that my current employer A plans to file in couple of weeks using I-140 approved petition. Please advice ?
